EDIT: Fulltime mining will not work, like mooseman says!!
The Widescreen doesnt work fully up yet. Hope i can find a solution to fix this. Btw perhaps other miners will work, but RR is the Best i think


Hi There, This Thread is for all who want to Play EVE like ever they do and to test an Second client with any Bot they want to use.

I Use VMWare Workstation 6.5.1 build 126130.
My Machine is an Intel Core 2 Duo 2,0GHz, 3GB Ram and and NVidia 9600GT.

I put some screenschots within this post to help that way, that this isnt a joke to the members of this helpful board.

Unfortunately due to the opacity issues with VMware, RoidRipper will not function. Until VMWare fixes this issue, RoidRipper will not function in VMWare.
Maybe it does now. I will have to test that theory, even if it's just for tehlulz!

Well I last tested with 6.5.1 and it was not working for me...

The issue is the overview when you select lines would not show up highlighted, and widescreen mode does NOT work... two serious issues. Roidripper needs the highlighting in the overview to confirm roid selections (reason it never mistargets, EVER) and it needs the widescreen to read the green glow from the laser modules.

Unless those two things are fixed, roidripper should NOT be functioning. Setup will work, as well as most things, but mining should not be working....

I havent used roidripper, but unless it has a specific reliance on the fancy 3D graphics, would running it with the universe map open and zoomed out help (makes all the background black)?

still doesnt fix the overview opacity issue I know, but could be 1 out of 2!
