Following the success of Roidripper we sadly have to report that CCP have decided to finally take action against Public Demands. On the 6th of May MeSaR will travel to Iceland to be put before a court of law for direct violations against the license of EVE Online.

We will continue to run Public Demands unless the Icelandish court specifically rules to close it. To avoid prosecution of any of the developers of RoidRipper we've decided to host it on another website and rename it 'LolRipper'.

It's a shame that it could be coming to an end, but we can't expect CCP to do nothing about macro miners forever.

Our new 11-million-hit-coping server is now up and running smoothly. At the rate Public Demands is expanding we'll have to upgrade again by next year.

Talking of expanding, we've just opened a set of subforums in the EVE Online section for internationals. Currently Germans, Spanish, Italians and French can use their own language in the forums. Translating and moderating the new forums are Dafdpunk, akademiker, psppa, gigiati and larosek. If you are multilingual and want to moderate your own forum in EVE Online you still can! Just PM pea or reply to this thread.

I'd also like to mention the new Public Demands IRC server (chat). You can either use our web client or your own IRC program. The server is irc.publicdemands.co.uk. Please note, if the web client is showing an error you need to clear Java's cache by doing the following; Open the web client > right click the Java icon in the taskbar > click Open Control Panel > in the Temporary Internet Files section click Settings... > click Delete Files... > tick both checkboxes and press ok. Then restart your browser.

Is it broken? Yes. It is broken. It's stopped working. We know, it's broken. RoidRipper has stopped working due to the recent upgrade of EVE-Online to Dominion. Luckily for most who already have EVE set up for RoidRipper can download the fix provided by Ripperjack. Others wanting RoidRipper to set up EVE for them will have to wait as most of the bugs are with the automatic setup.

We've started a thread for testers to post bug reports and the beta version of RoidRipper 1.5.6 by Ripperjack can be found here.

It's not only RoidRipper though, the 0km Patch has also stopped working. pxor128 has kindly said he'll fix it though.

So stop panicking, everything will be fixed eventually.

When Public Demands was set loose to the world the EVE community had a pathetic array of rigid macros and viruses claiming to be bots. Now in the second year EVE bots and macros have evolved immensely from 100 liners to fully fledge programs and better still, free, opensource and safe.

Nothing can be claimed, but there's no doubt that RoidRipper is one of, if not the most, popular mining bot available. Providing everything a hardcode miner needs to mine 23/7 for free and without touching your computer it's hard to pass up the chance to make over 150 million ISK a day. The only disadvantage of RoidRipper was the inability use it while minimized or to run more than one instance of it on the same computer, but luckily thanks to virtual desktop software such as VMWare it's now all possible.

But RoidRipper isn't the only star, thanks to the talented community of Public Demands we now offer a host of programs to automate EVE to do a range of operations.

if you havent played or heard of left 4 dead then you must check it out. its the must have game and i rate it best game of 2008, its only early days to with people bringing out mods like left 4 winchester (shaun of the dead), dead before dawn (dawn of the dead), resident evil racoon city and many more i can see this game getting even better!

this game has amazing game play it features stuff like co op play, achievements, able to play infected and many more. the game is basically a zombie apocalypse with 4 survivors trying to reach safety but the only problem is theres hordes of thousands of zombies plus many boss infected too. this game is impossible for rambos which makes it more fun, made by the creators of css (counter strike source) one of the best selling games ever you can see that this game is just going to be great.
